editing footer "blog title"

  • would anyone please remind me how to edit the bottom of my f8 theme?

    right now it attributes the copyright to the name of my site and includes the business after the colon which is very long and complicated and makes the bottom of the site look really messy.

    i know this is in one of the php files or something but if someone can just remind me how to fix this again it would be great.

    i /don’t/ want to go in and edit anything in my WP UI since the SITE itself looks fine and this text is showing up where i want it (with the exception of also showing up in the “footer” at the bottom…).

    if i knew what this was called i could find something appropriate on google and if i could find the answers i have printed out in the past i could probably get this done on my own as well.

  • Can you provide a link to your site please?

    The content you are looking for is most likely in the footer.php which is in your theme folder.
    Look in Appearances > editor – then on the right, click on footer.php
