• I just transferred my site from a working directory to my root directory and have gone “live”. GoDaddy support was very helpful, and they recommended using the “Change URL’s” plugin to facilitate the move. This resolved some broken links, and the site works fine, but I now have a significant issue. GoDaddy says all is ok from their end, and this must be a plugin link issue.

Issue: When editing (scaling or cropping) an existing image in the Library, the updated image is not displayed. The original image is fine; the edit is missing.

When a new file is uploaded to the library, the jpg file is uploaded successfully, but the image is not displayed.

In both cases, the image cannot be inserted into a page successfully.

Any advice appreciated. This is a serious issue for any future mods to the site.

Yes, but by restoring the old site from backup and more carefully transfering the links with GoDaddy handholding.

I suspect “operator error” was at the heart of the issue; made the xfr without full knowledge of the moving parts.

    Thanks for checking up.
