editing language files

  • Hi,

    i would like to customize this string in the confirmation email:
    “T?tige Deine Zahlung direkt an unser Bankkonto. Wichtiger Hinweis: Bitte gib die Bestellnummer im Verwendungszweck an. Deine Bestellung wird versandt, sobald Deine Zahlung bei uns eingegangen ist.”

    i have found it in this both files :
    woocommerce-de/wc-pomo-21x/du-version/woocommerce-de_DE
    and
    woocommerce-de/wc-pomo/du-version/woocommerce-de_DE

    i have made there my tweaks with po-edit (.mo generation was set to automatically) and uploaded all ..,for the first directly into the core plugin folder

    but i cannot not see any changes…the confirmation email has still the default string.

    What might be the error?

    my other question would be …where do i have to place alternative files

    i tried it with
    wp-content/languages/woocommerce-de/wc-pomo-21x/du-version/woocommerce-de_DE
    and
    wp-content/languages/woocommerce-de/wc-pomo/du-version/woocommerce-de_DE

    is this the right path to achieve it?

    hi in have found the string in the woocommerce settings at the cash on delivery payment gateway settings.

    so it`s solved for me at this issue^^
