    Hi there,
I’ve just installed the Make theme and I think I love it. But when I installed a child theme (downloading it from the website and installing as instructed) I can switch between the original Make theme and the child version. However, when the child theme is active, I can’t enter any text fields in the builder template pages. This applies to existing pages as well as to new ones. I can open the text area, but when I click into it, I can’t write any text. As soon as I switch back to the regular Make theme, it works. What am I missing?

  • Hi there,

I’m so glad you’re loving Make! I’m not sure why you’re having this problem, but hopefully we can sort it out for you.

To be clear, you downloaded the child theme from our website?

Do you have any plugins installed that might be causing this unexpected behavior?

Ok, problem solved. I deleted and reinstalled the child theme and found that the font size of the body had changed to 0px. So the truth was: I WAS able to type text – it just didn’t show, neither in the edit window nor on the site. Seems to work now.

Glad to hear it’s working now. Thanks for following up with us!
