Editing My Forum Topic

    I posted a topic on this forum which I would like to edit, perhaps even delete. How can I accomplish this? Thanks.

    Hi opusxxvii,

    Members are only allowed to edit/delete their posts during the first 60 minutes since it’s been posted. After that, only a moderator can edit a post. If you want more information, check out this section on the Forum Welcome page.

    My client asked that my post be edited due to identifying information they do not wish to have published. How do I go about requesting that a topic be edited?

    generally, forum moderators might come across your request automatically.

    if you want to draw special attention to your request, tag is with ‘modlook’ – admins and moderators are checking those topics regularly.

    however, there is not much chance that the topic will get moderated, i.e. that the link will get removed, as being found by search engines is not a strong enough reason – see again https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Deleting_.2F_Editing_Posts
