Editing names of categories in right column

    Most of the category name management can be easily edited through the dashboard, but I can’t seem to find how to edit the ones in the right column.

    Specifically, I’d like to rename “Blogroll” to something else and remove a few of the links under “Meta”

    My guess is that I have to crack open some of the files using Dreamweaver but with so many, it’s hard to know where to look. I started checking under the theme, but no luck yet. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks! ??

  • Have you visited Links -> Links Categories when logged in as admin for the “Blogroll” issue?

    Now all that’s left is to figure out how to edit the links under “Meta”

    Depending on which theme you are using it’s easy. For Kubrick based themes (the stock out-of-the-box ones) edit the file “sidebar.php”. You will see those titles in there. Just type over the titles with whatever you want it to read. You can also add links, delete links, etc.

    You can do this in a simple text editor like Notepad, too. Don’t need an HTML editor, since what you are asking is so simple. Just don’t do too much other mucking around in there, or things might get messy.
