I have two categories on my blog. I did this for thematic reasons and started to direct people to the separate categories instead of the main blog page. My question is can I remove the word “Archive” from the separate category pages?

  • Depending on your theme, you might have to edit one of your theme’s template files. For instance, in the WordPress Default 1.6 theme, that text is in the wp-content/themes/default/archive.php file.

    Thank you.

I have three category (widgets?) in my left sidebar, and all 3 category widgets have different titles. Problem is that each category repeats the first widget categories. How do I edit the 2 remaining category widgets?

    GLB

    Example:

    Automobiles (1st category widget)

    Buick
    Chevrolet
    Dodge
    Ford

    Boats (2nd Category widget?)

    Buick?
    Chevrolet?
    Dodge?
    Ford?

    Planes (3rd category widget?)

    Buick?
    Chevrolet?
    Dodge?
    Ford?
