I need to edit or remove the .csv archived gig file I imported because it has some incorrect info. I can’t see any way to do that. I tried importing a corrected .csv file in hopes that it would remove the first on, but it created corrected duplicate dates instead.. I’d be happy to just remove it all and start again, but don’t know how. Help!

Nevermind, I figured it out! Deleting and re-installing gigpress did the trick, although it would still be nice to know if there’s a way to access the files without having to delete the plugin.
    Thanks

Glad you figured it out, @smendels!

If I’m understanding your question correctly, there wouldn’t really be much point in deleting or altering the CSV file post-import: once it is uploaded the data is converted into database entries, so further adjustments to that data would need to be made through the various other admin screens GigPress makes available or (but only if you are confident and know what you are doing) by directly modifying the database.

Actually I still would like to know where it’s possible to edit those files so that I don’t have to trash all the current gigs and re-do them just to fix an archived one. I had the same issue again, as several people are working on this and mistakes do happen.. So if you can point me to that database, that would be helpful. I won’t do anything if I don’t feel qualified.

    Hi @smendels,

GigPress uses a set of custom database tables as follows (the wp_ prefix however may be different on your site):

    • wp_gigpress_artists
    • wp_gigpress_shows
    • wp_gigpress_tours
    • wp_gigpress_venues

You can alter the data they contain via a range of popular tools including phpMyAdmin (which is pre-installed in many hosting environments).
