    Hi there,
so this is my problem. I’m on WP using Brizy to build a page for a friend. I have two languages (German and English), German is the main language. So when I change the text on any German page in Brizy it overwrites the translation of that block on the English page with whatever I put into the German version. I don’t know it that is expected behaviour but to me it’s really annoying. If I just need to insert a comma or so it then goes ahead and copies the full content of this block over to the English version, so everything in that block is in German again.
    Here is a video:

I found no other way to edit the German text as in Brizy as it is greyed out when opening the translate option. Am I missing something here?

    Hello Sven,

Our plugin works with individual strings. Any change in the original will invalidate the translation, as the original string is no longer found.

That’s why we offer those same strings as a possible translation if the originals are similar enough. Currently there is no way for us to be 100% sure you’re editing the same string, so we don’t serve the similar string translation automatically.

    Best wishes,
