Editing others peoples ads

    It seems like an admin cannot edit someone else’s classifieds. Is there a way of allowing admin edit rights to the adverts of others?

    Hi,
    the admin from wp-admin / Classifieds panel should be able to edit any Advert.

    Is there some Advert which you can see in the frontend but not in wp-admin / Classifieds panel? If so then while logged in administrator please click on this Ad title, when you will go to the Advert details page and at the top (in black bar) you should see “Edit Classified” link, is it there?

    Hi Greg,

    Logged on as admin I can see an advert which is pending (moderate=”1″). This has been posted by an ordinary user. The only action for it is “bin”.

    I thought this might be caused by another plugin but the behaviour stays the same with all plugins disabled.

    Any ideas?

    I’ve tried changing my theme back to twentyseventeen. But it hasn’t made any difference.

    Restoring an old backup of the db has sorted it out. So obviously data related. But I need to sort it in my current db. Can you give me a steer as to what might have upset it?

    Me being dim. Hadn’t noticed that I had picked up another role which didn’t have edit_pages as a capability
