Editing pages

I’m trying to add this php code into my “about page”:
“< ?php echo ImageHeadline_render( ‘Whatever text’ ); ?>”
I do this by the “Write page” menu. The problem is that the code shows up on the page as it stands, I would like it to show the image headlines instead…
What should I do to make this work?
