This is regarding a very strange bug with Popup Maker and Divi. To give you some background of the situation: I inherited a website from another designer built with Divi that had too many plugins installed and other issues. I cleaned up the site, deactivated and deleted many plugins and installed Popup Maker. I created a few different style popups and then duplicated the popups with the “Duplicate Page” plugin. I prefer the “Duplicate Post” plugin but it doesn’t duplicate popups in “Popup Maker”. Now this is the strange bug I noticed: After creating or editing a popup, often a page on the site would get corrupted. The background color would turn grey (like the plugin theme?) and some rows that were formerly full width would change to site width. Eventually I found a non destructive way to fix it by opening the corrupt page in the backend page editor, then without making any changes I clicked the preview changes button and this fixes the problem.

@greybird – Sorry for the delay. I believe we have already spoken about this over email extensively and it was a caching or plugin conflict if I’m not mistaken.

If your issue is resolved please take a moment to rate and review the plugin or support.

If you still need help please message us directly at https://wppopupmaker.com/support/.

The last time I edited a popup was a couple of weeks ago and I think the problem was still there. I don’t think I’ve tested it since you updated your plugin. I never identified a cause other than your plugin. As I said above though I found it would repair itself by previewing the page.

@greybird – If we haven’t spoken over email, then what I believe is happening is your pages CSS needs regeneration for some reason it is being cleared & not regenerated when you save a popup. When you preview it regenerates those styles which is why that resolves it.

Since we don’t have any functionality in our plugin to delete those things this has to come from something in Divi itself. Only they would have functions to delete their generated CSS.

I would put in a ticket to them and see if they could help. It is ultimately their functionality which is failing, they would be best to tell us why. It could be some type of conflict between the two, but the best place to start is with the source of the problem which in this case is Divi not generating CSS. Once they look at it they may tell us what type of things could cause it and we (Popup Maker) can then try to see how our code might have those effects.

In any case please move this to a email ticket so we can properly track it daily. We don’t check in here that often honestly as we answer dozens of tickets a day via our email based system which is much more efficient.
