Editing recurring event isn't working

  • I have an events calendar to keep track of all of the salsa events in my local area (Leeds).

    When I originally created the calendar about 2 years ago I made the recurring events last until the end of 2014. Now I am wanting to extend the end dates (because the events will all be continuing).

    However, when I tried, when I tried to save the changes I’d made, the update failed and I got the following message

    “Your event details are incorrect and recurrences cannot be created, please correct these errors first:

    Please speficy what days of the week this event should occur on.”

    I definitely specified what day the event should be occurring on… I tried various unticking, reticking, but I can’t get the event to update, and now it is stored as a ‘draft’!

    Can you suggest anything I can do to fix this. It will be a huge pain if I have to recreate all of the events!

    hi,

    are you using weekly recurring event then sunday? if yes, this is already been reported and the devs are working on this.

    We’ve just released new version of the plugin that should fix these issues, you should see a notification of an update in WordPress admin shortly.
