Editing & Saving Draft

    I’ve been through all of the documentation and plugin information, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to edit the templates I’m trying via Theme Switcha.

    I have the admin options set up and the themes appear, I click on one and it goes to a page previewing the theme and my site content, but how exactly do I edit and save changes until it’s ready to go live?

    Glad to help. In order to make changes to your theme template, you need to modify the files on the server. For example, one possible way is to connect via SFTP. That way you can download your theme files and make any changes. Alternately most web hosts provide some sort of file editor that you can use like via a control panel or whatever.

    I should note that when editing files, especially on a live/production site, it is recommended that you:

    – Understand what you are doing
    – Have a good working backup of your site and database

    If any doubts, you can ask your web host or developer for more information. Lots of good tutorials available around the Web as well.
