Editing style.css Disqus is not aligning its width

Hello,

I need help with aligning Disqus to my content page. I am using twenty fourteen. Here is how it looks like

I tried adding

#disqus_thread {
width:400px;
margin-left:25px;
margin-right:25px;
margin-top:75px;
}

to Appearance -> Editor -> bottom of style.css but it is not working. Help!
