    Hi,

thanks for checking! Rebuilding the page should give more insights then.

    Mystery solved.

In the course of rebuilding the recalcitrant pages I stumbled across the source of the annoying question of why some pages were displaying wider than others.

The “Suffusion” WordPress theme offers page layout options for sidebar placement that can be selected at the time the page is published or edited. In addition to variations (1 left, 1 right / two left / two right, etc) there is a page layout option on the list labeled “default.”

That default layout of sidebars also is 1 left, 1 right.

The site was initially built using default. But those problematic pages were built using the 1 left, 1 right option.

One might think they are the same code, but apparently they are not. The resulting displays were not the same.

As soon as I changed the page layouts of those two pages to “default” the problem went away.

Thanks for your patience and help.
