Editing template html via plug in

HI,

I am developing a plugin and I need the plugin itself to edit the html of a template on the fly.

What I am after is wrapping in a div=”respond-wrapper” div id=”respond” with another block of code the plugin creates.

I could handle this with jQuery but I am trying first with a server side solution.
