• I read HERE that TXT files could be edited using the theme editor… but how do I make them show up? I can only get .css and .php files to show up in the list.

  • I guess they have to be in the theme directory to work and try to put their name in the URL instead of a visible file.

    Yeah, it is in the theme directory. That was a good idea to manually edit the URL. When I do so, I get an error that says, “Sorry, that file cannot be edited.” It’s CHMOD’d to 0777.

    Anybody else have any ideas?

    You need to change the write permissions on the file on your FTP server . . . I think!! I am having similar problems and have done a lot of research on this, not solving my own problem, but I think I can work yours out. Have a look at https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_File_Permissions for proper advice!
