Editing white text on a black background

Hi,
Our customer is using a black email template with white text. When he edits the text in the newsletter editor the text is now white text on a white background!
Currently the customer is changing the text colour to black in the editor, making changes and changing the text colour back to white. This has proven very slow a clunky in practice.
Is there a CSS override to change the background colour of the TinyMCE editor window as every newsletter this client will ever send will have white text on a black background.
We hope a solution is possible as the client has asked us to source an alternative newsletter plugin if a solution cannot be found.
