With the woocommerce order emails you can select a featured colour for the template. Ive chosen a beige kind of colour but the problem is that you can only select one text colour. A slate grey or black makes sense and is what I chose. But this doesnt look good in some of the order headings where the heading uses the featured colour as the background and the text lies oveovtop. If I chose navy or dark blue for instance this would be unreadable and doesn’t look as good as white. White for the heading looks really good and clean but then I can’t read the other text where the background is also white. Ideally it would be good to have a heading colour selector (for sections that use the accent colour in the background) in addition to the body text selector.

Particular I want the header text to be white for myself where the accent colour is used for the background while the body email text is black or dark grey over white background. Currently the text is all black/dark grey for both the body and header text.

I would love if I could get some help with this.

  • Hi there @sonjamarie,

    Thanks for reaching out!

While the core WooCommerce email customization options are fairly limited, there are many free and paid extensions for WooCommerce which add to this functionality for email customization.

For example, we recommend MailPoet which has a very nice drag-and-drop editor in addition to powerful email marketing tools to help you grow your WooCommerce store.

If you would prefer to instead modify or override the core WooCommerce email templates with templates of your own design, we offer some documentation to get you started with that. (note that this level of customization is beyond our scope per our Support Policy.)

I hope this helps you explore some options for how to enhance that core WooCommerce feature. If you have any further questions please let me know.
