    Hi.

In the editor, under style, the image background box stays and covers up the colour box. Then the whole thing crashes and I need to reload the editor.

I have rolled elementor back to the previous version but the issue still happens.

    Please help.

  • I started a thread about the same issue and the developer replied in the thread. They just put out an update today that may help. I ended up reverting back to WP 4.8.3 per another user’s recommendation and it fixed the issue. I’m sticking to 4.8.3 for now just to be safe.

I forgot, let us know if you remain on WP 4.9 and the Elementor update fixed the issue.

    Hi,

I am getting the same issue. It appears to be when only using Chrome (Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit)) in Windows 10 for me. On Mac OSX using Chrome/Safari/FF it works fine. I have just installed the latest Firefox version on my Windows 10 machine and it works OK so am using that for the time being. I am still on WP4.9 and Elementor 1.8.4.

Same issue for me. I started a thread today.
    I am using Chrome + Windows 10 + Elementor 1.8.4 + WP 4.9

Elementor update fixed the issue for me. Was starting to panic. Never got a chance to test other browsers before the update (never thought!)

Im on latest version of everything – osx / chrome / wp / elementor

    Thanks guys

Lucky you ! I use the last version (1.8.5) and the issue is always here…
Please Elementor team, post a fix for this problem, I can’t work on my projetcs !

I have the same issue – I’m using Macbook Pro but it shows up on both Safari and Chrome

@inzewind I installed the latest version of Mozilla Firefox until the problem is solved. Also try and run it in incognito mode on Chrome. They are my work arounds. I have not tried Opera browser yet but you may want to consider trying that also.

@matts1000 Oh well done ! The problem seems to be solved by opening my website in incognito mode in Chrome. Strange… but thanks a lot !
@arielk-1 I notice that users are more efficient than the team of developers to propose solutions. Pretty amazing !
But now we are WAITING FOR A FIX to solve this issue…
