Editor Button and Custom Syntax

  • When setting “Modern Footnotes Custom Shortcode” to utilize custom syntax such as [tooltip][/tooltip]; the editor button outputs the old hard coded [mfn] instead of [tooltip]. As a result for each tooltip I’m required to change out all of them when inserting via the button.

    Overall Modern Footnotes is the most exciting tooltip plugin of WordPress. ??
