Editor cannot access wp-admin

  • Hi

    I have installed this plugin on a woocommerce website where I have multiple roles like Retail, Reseller, Professional, Member. I created them and it worked great. But when I created a new user with default Editor role of wordpress, The editor user was not able to login to wp-admin of the website. It redirected the user to Home page from wp-admin url after login. Only Administrator can go to wp-admin dashboard. No other user “editor/author” cannot go to wp-admin.

    Please help how should I fix this?

    Hi Murtaza,

    If redirection comes from WooCommerce, ‘view_admin_dashboard’ capability allows access to wp-admin.

    Some plugins may add own rules for wp-admin access. Try to deactivate them all and activate back one by one to isolate a problem.
