Editor Displays In White Font After 2.8 Upgrade

    I have several blogs, hosted at different locations, that have seen the same error occur after the upgrade to 2.8. Any help for a non-programming blogger would be greatly appreciated.

    When I go to edit or add a new post, all I see is some pink horizontal lines randomly occurring in the middle of the visual editor. If I drag my mouse across it, I see what should be in the html editor. When I switch over to the html editor, I think everything is normal.

    I want my visual editor back… :(.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Same problem! And no photo gallery (Flickr) can be dispayed too. And no upload of images seems possible!

    I fixed it by redoing the upgrade via Tools->Upgrade->Re-install automatically, then clearing the browser cache.

    Hi Joe, What files need to be chmod 777 to do the automatic upgrade?

    I get the following error:

    Download failed.: Could not create Temporary file
