Editor Error

    This is happening on both of my sites; one is a www.ads-software.com site and the other is a wordpress.com site.
    After I publish a new post, I get this error message, “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.”
    With the wordpress. org site, I did a test in a staging environment; deactivated all plugins; reactivated one by one, the Gutenberg plugin is the problem.
    It was happening before the latest WP update and is still happening.
    I know you will find a fix.

  • I’ve been complaining about this error for weeks. The last 4 versions of the plugin have this error but there is no support here.

    The good news is that the latest version of Gutenberg plugin seems to have solved this problem. Thanks.

    As Gutenberg is now integrated in to WordPress, you do not need the Gutenberg plugin to run Gutenberg.

    The Gutenberg plugin has experimental features and bugs that have not been fixed. If you want a stable release, only use the Gutenberg that is bundled with WordPress core (i.e. no Gutenberg plugin installed).

    I am going to follow up and say, this is all fixed.
    Thank you to whomever worked on this to make it happen.
    Still love Gutenberg!
