I have the free version of EP Editor, and recently changed a theme, to get more from it. then your editor set the default font as “”-apple-system”” I have tried everything that I know to try to change it to another default font. and nothing.

also in the drop down, the “”-apple-system”” is not in the list itself. So why in the world of the universe is this showing this by default???? I had another theme that always defaulted to “”Open Sans”” 13pt. which was perfect. I did contact the present theme author, and its like trying to grow apples from a banana tree (basically useless)

any help on your end to try to make a small change to this please. thank you in advance

Hmmm.. this sounds very weird. And I don’t think it’s originating from the WP Edit plugin.

    1) Deactivate WP Edit; but continue using the new theme. Does the default font return to normal? If not, it has something to do with your theme (or another plugin).

    2) Switch back to your original theme. Does the font return? If so, it’s another “flag” it might be your new theme.

WP Edit does not use a font called “-apple-system” natively, anywhere. This is why it’s probably not appearing in the font dropdown box.

My guess would be the new theme is setting this font by default.

I am very sorry to hear. I recently had some health complications; so I could probably understand the situation. First, be well. Second, reach out to me when you’re ready.

    Best!!
