Editor for Email Body msg, stripping out html code

Hi, Sorry for all the msgs. The editor for the Email Body message keeps stripping out any html that I put in there. I would like to add some images and have them link back to my site, but even the text editor (not the visual editor) takes out my code. Is there a way around that or can I add in my body message html code somewhere else in the php files?
