    By default the Editor role don’t have permissions to access the plugin if you want give Editor to save/edit permission please try using below user role editor plugin from where you can give permission to user role.

    Still unable to save/edit post/custom post item using editor. http error 500 when I try to edit the post/custom post item. I have to change the role to admin in order for me to save/edit it.

    Hi George Abbas,

    500 error typically is a Fatal Error on your website. You would have to check your PHP error log and find out what causes the error.

    As an option, you can install CodePinch plugin and it’ll help you to debug your website.
