• Hi Joe –

    I’m not sure why I’m having issues since this last upgrade but the EDITOR role can no longer add events to the calendar? Is this a bug?

    I’m not aware of any issues with this; what permissions have you granted your editors?

    They are standard permissions for Editor role. For whatever reason it seems they need to be upgraded to admin role in order to post new events.

    Are they able to access the screen to add events, but not able to add events, or are they unable to see the screen at all?

    Hi Joe –

    They are not able to see the screen at all. It is not until you enable the “manage_options” permission that they are then allowed to see the “Add New Event” screen. They can see all the other screens with no problem.

    Are using a capabilities manager to grant your users custom permissions? What permissions do your users have for My Calendar, as configured at My Calendar > Settings > Permissions?
