Editor size is huge and when I resize it, it goes back to really long editor

  • I’ve heard others have had this problem and I’m seeing it on a consistent basis across various browsers (Chrome and IE). The editor box on the post page is really, really long (height). I resize it but as soon as you save the post, it goes back to being *huge*. I also noticed that when I resize it, the cursor seems to stick meaning even though I release the mouse button, it still resizes the box as I move my mouse cursor around the screen. Seems like the problem is related to mouseup/mousedown. Also, I can run setUserSetting(‘ed_size’, 200); and it resets the size. I can refresh the page and go load another post and it keeps the size. But then when I update the post, it goes back to being about 8 screens long.

    Has anyone found a permanent solution?

    Followup: I ran setUserSetting(‘ed_size’, 200); and then updated the post and it kept the vertical size at 200. Then I resized the box just a little bit and updated the post and it went back to being huge.
