    Hello,

I used this plugin in the 6.9.27 version until this morning (now 6.9.28) with WordPress in 6.5.3.

On my website, I gave the following permissions to the editor role: edit_users, delete_users, create_users, list_users and remove_users so they can have autonomy for adding new subscribers and it worked really well until the last update.

Now they encounter an error saying “Error: enter a password” (sorry if the translation is approximative). I’m an administrator on the website and I can still add new users.

It does work fine again for editors when I deactivate the plugin, but I hope there is another solution.

    Is there one?

@rdagorn thank you for the report. Can you please export all your AAM settings on the “Settings” tab and send it to [email protected]. This should be a JSON file. This way we can check your settings and try to replicate an issue.

If you are experiencing similar issue, please deactivate the “User Governance” service on the AAM “Settings” page. We already identified the root cause and fixed it. The new AAM release will solve the problem.

I had a similar problem in 6.9.28: users could no longer reset their passwords at the login page. After deactivating the ‘User Governance’ service, it came back to normal.
