Editors can’t see pending posts

I’ve searched google and the boards and can’t find this problem anywhere – but when logged in as an editor, there’s a (1) next to pending posts, but when I click on it, it just says “no posts found”. When logged in as an administrator I can see the pending post just fine – am I missing something?
