Edits to woocommerce my-account.php in child not working

I have created a child theme with this plugin and it works great, but changes to /theme/woocommerce/templates/myaccount/my-account.php are not showing up on the My Account page for WooCommerce.

The changes do show up when I make them to the the my-account.php file in the woocommerce plugin directory, just not when I make them in the child theme’s directory.

Normal page edits work fine in the child theme. It’s only editing page templates that are not showing up on the site. I also have the same problem when editing the cart.php file in the child theme.

Please advise how to get this working properly.
