Editting the “Add New Product” section on a vendors dashboard.

    I would like to edit the “Add New Product” section of the vendors dashboard.

    Is there anyway to add and remove drop down fields?

    Heres what I’d like to do.

    1. Can I remove the ‘Downloadable” and “Virtual” tick boxes bellow the title as all my products will be physical.

    2. I would like to remove the “Discounted Price” field. Not needed.

    3. Could I add a custom drop down field titled “Condition” where they could select the condition of their item from New, Like New, or, Used.

    4. Can the inventory selection be removed as these will be one off 2nd hand items and only be 1 available. Currently have to select ‘Allow only one quantity of this product to be bought in a single order’ is there any way to make this mandatory?

    5. In my test vendor log in I can add a form that allows potential customers to contact the vendor regarding an item. is it possible that I can have this form always at the bottom of the items description as some vendors may not be technically minded and able to put this in themselves?

    ?The “Add new product” page in the dashboard is customize-able by overriding the template. To override a template you need to create a folder in your child theme like this way – dokan > products. Copy the file from dokan-lite > templates > products > new-product-single.php to your child theme’s products folder. You are advised to make changes in your child theme’s file so that a plugin update does not remove your changes,

    ?1. To customize or remove those fields you can use simple css to hide that portion or you can remove by overriding the template like above. The file you need to edit is in – dokan-lite > templates > products > download-virtual.php

    ?2. You can remove discounted price portion from this file dokan-lite > templates > products > new-product-single.php

    ?3. You can add new fields but to save it to the database and retrieve the data in a particular page will need customization. You should consult a developer for such changes.

    ?4. You can remove inventory portion from this file dokan-lite > templates > products > new-product-single.php
