    Hello,

    Sorry but I fixed the issue as it relates to the Autoptimize plugin. Just a heads up for people who use Autoptimize, you will need to add wp-content/plugins/pimp-my-site/ to Exclude scripts from Autoptimize under JavaScript options in the Autoptimize settings.

    BTW, I posted this same exact issue on your support forums with this fix as it relates to both the free version and premium. Thank you.

    I have a problem where the plugin is somehow getting blocked and also blocking other plugins. I’m building a tourism website so I want the page to load a fast as possible. Is there any way to fix this? Sample page here hokkaido.a4jp.com/en/

    Hello,

    I checked your page and everything looks fine except for the Popular Posts error message in the browser console. If the Popular Posts plugin is being blocked, try flushing the the page cache using your cache plugin. You are using Hummingbird. Also, if that doesn’t work, if you are using Hummingbird’s minify CSS and defer critical JS settings, you need to exclude Pimp My Site plugin because I use Autoptimize to minify and defer and had to exclude Pimp My Site in Autoptimize. Hummingbird has minify settings that do pretty much the same thing as Autoptimize’s minify features so the problem could be there in Hummingbird’s minify and defer critical JS settings.

    I’m just testing Hummingbird now. I’ll turn it off so you can check.

    I just deactivated it.

    I still see the error message in console for Popular Posts. However, the page load is slow without Hummingbird.

    Pimp my Site – Christmas Edition always gets stuck for some reason. I’m trying to go through everything plugin by plugin to see if I can find out what is causing the problem. Any suggestions?

    @a4jpcom

    Pimp My Site looks fine on my end. I am not sure what you mean by getting stuck? It loads fine, when I scroll down and up, everything is fine.

    I found out Wordfence was slowing down everything. I had to set it in learning mode and then refresh it a bunch of times.

    I’m still getting this error though.

    DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content for https://hokkaido.a4jp.com/wp-content/plugins/pimp-my-site-christmas-edition/assets/js/vendor/jquery.particles.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE

    (@a4jpcom)

    If it’s okay, can you do a test with Wordfence to see if everything is okay?

    @a4jpcom

    Everything is fine on my end, no errors that I can see. The Pimp My Site in the console is a warning, not an error but it is working fine on your site.

    DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content for https://hokkaido.a4jp.com/wp-content/plugins/pimp-my-site-christmas-edition/assets/js/vendor/jquery.particles.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE

    The developer of the plugin would be able to look in to that warning better, but it relates to the particle effects and the particle effects are loading correctly.

    Aren’t you the person that made the plugin?

    @a4jpcom

    No, I did not make this plugin. I use it on my site.
