    Hello there,
    I recently received an error message that must be fixed (Hopefully). I am using Yoast SEO free version for SEO things within my site.

    These are my affected pages
    https://gutsycreatives.com/all-courses/
    https://gutsycreatives.com/register/

    When I add courses as Products All courses page generated automatically.
    If I can’t solve this issue I’d like to disabled breadcrumbs from my site. Does that helps to get rid of Either “name” or “item.name” should be specified if it does how I disabled breadcrumbs from Yoast because I couldn’t find any option under breadcrumbs to disable or enable.

    For your reference, I’ve attached a screenshot from my plugin.

    @havishka We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.

    We understand that Google Search Console is reporting a warning saying that ‘either name or item.name should be specified’.

    The Yoast SEO plugin takes the name from the page name. In this case, it could be that the name is missing from your front page. Can you please check the page you’re using as your front page and make sure you’ve added a title to this page?

    If not, does adding the title resolve the issue?

    @havishka Thanks for your reply.

    Can you please also confirm that you have set the title for the home page as well?

    Also, if you clear your cache (server, plugin/theme, or CDN such as Cloudflare) does this resolve the issue? If you are not sure how to clear your server cache you should speak with your host provider.

    Hi There,

    I just cleared my cache but it doesn’t help. If we couldn’t fix Is there a way to completely disable breadcrumbs so it might help me to get over this error.

    @havishka We’re sorry to hear that didn’t help.

    If you wish to disable Yoast SEO breadcrumbs for your site you can do so by performing the following actions:

      ? In WordPress, go to SEO>Search Appearance
      ? Click on the ‘Breadcrumbs’ tab
      ? Scroll to the bottom and for ‘Enable Breadcrumbs for your theme’ set this to ‘Disabled’
      ? Click ‘Save changes’

    We also have step by step instructions for enabling/disabling breadcrumbs in the plugin available here: https://yoast.com/help/implement-wordpress-seo-breadcrumbs/#enable-and-configure-the-yoast-breadcrumbs

    I can’t see any option to disable or enable breadcrumbs when I navigate to SEO>Search Appearance>Breadcrumbs tab. Below I shared a screenshot of my Yoast SEO Breadcrumbs tab.

    Does it helps to get rid of those errors if I disable breadcrumbs?

    @havishka Thanks for your reply.

    Can you please confirm whether you are logged into the site as an administrator?

    Also, can you confirm you are using the most recent version of Yoast SEO Premium, version 15.9.2? You can learn more about updating here: https://yoast.com/help/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

    In addition, can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.7? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/

    If you update to the most current version of WordPress and Yoast SEO, does this resolve the issue?
