El módulo PHP mcrypt_encrypt no está instalado en el servidor

    Hola Jose,

    Lo primero agradecerte el grandísimo trabajo que has hecho con este plugin.

    Al activar y configurar tu plugin me ha aparecido este mensaje

    “ATENCIóN: El módulo PHP mcrypt_encrypt no está instalado en el servidor. La API de SHA-256 de Redsys necesita este módulo para funcionar. Por favor, contacta con to proveedor de hosting para pedirle que lo instale. De otro modo tu tienda no podrá utilizar Redsys.”

    Cuando tenía instalado el plugin oficial de RedSys no aparecía pero con este sí y además, de momento sí que está haciendo todas las transacciones de compra.

    ?Me puedes ayudar con este aviso/error?

    Hola Jose,

    I have the same issue and I’m using PHP version 7.2.

    My hosting server answered me:
    “I understand you are currently receiving a warning message by the WooCommerce Redsys Gateway Light plug-in. The reason for this is that Mcrypt is not being supported anymore with PHP version 7.2 and higher, which we are currently using on our servers. The main reason that Mcrypt is not supported anymore is safety.

    There are some alternatives that you could use instead of Mcrypt, but I personally don’t know which option would be the best alternative. Besides alternatives, it is also possible to change the PHP version back to 7.1 or 7.0, this is something we could do for you. But is not recommended, because it is not being updated and supported anymore. For this reason I recommend you to look into an alternative for Mcrypt to solve the warning message.”

    Can you tell me what the best alternative?

    Ok,

    Don’t worry, The plugin works fine with PHP 7.2, the problem is the message.

    I will release a new version with a fix for this message.

    Ok, I released a new version (v1.1.1).

    This version no longer shows the message about mcrypt_encrypt.
