Title and favicon not showing on Google

can you confirm you have defined a site icon from the WordPress general settings?

I would also suggest to remove this line from your source code:

<link rel="icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon">

After adding the site icon from the settings.

Clear your cache too.

Note that it can takes weeks / months before Google updates this.

If the favicon has been configured in WordPress settings.

The favicon has been displayed for a long time, but when you install the plugin and configure it, the favicon and the title I mentioned above disappear.

We can see the favicon in Google Search results.

Looks good on our end.

This site title has not been changed, do you know why this is?

Oops I have missed this part.

Go to your WP admin, SEO, Titles and metas settings page, Home tab and enter a value in the Alternative site title field.

Save changes, clear your cache.

Wait for the Googlebot to crawl again your site.
