• Hi,

I had to change the php version. I’ve received the warning:

Warning: Undefined array key “blogger” in /home/platne/serwer25269/public_html/englishfreak.pl/wp-content/themes/elara-child/functions.php on line 30

I’ve contacted the hosting support and they said it happens so as the Elara Theme has stopped updating.

Do you happen to know if the theme is going to be updated or it is necessary to change the theme so as not to discourage the customers from shopping?

    Best wishes

  • Hi @ilonzia,

Thanks for reaching out, and thank you for using Elara- we really appreciate it! The site looks great, btw!

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble, and also sorry to hear that your hosting company felt we were no longer updating Elara. The last update was in January, we are still actively developing, updating, and supporting the theme. ??

In this case it’s not the Elara theme that the error references- it looks like you’ve created a child theme, which is what is throwing the PHP warning at the moment:

    Theme Name: Elara Child
    Author: ILonazia3439

Ideally WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY or error reporting would not be enabled on a production hosting environment like this, you could enable it on your staging site if you want errors/warnings visible for troubleshooting, but it’s typically best to leave it off on a live site.

It would also probably be a good idea to address this issue in your child theme, but either option should do the trick to prevent the warning from displaying on your live site.

Thanks again, and let us know if you or your host have any questions!
