Elementor 2.6.8 stopped loading editor and saved templates

    We’ve been thinking about upgrading to the premium version of Elementor, but we’ve been experiencing errors with the 2.6.8 – 2.7.1 versions that are causing us to rethink purchasing the premium version of the plugin. All our custom templates stopped showing in the “add template” option. After this, the editing pages are now timing out without fully loading.

    Here are the errors that appear under the System Info tab in the plugin…

    I’ve attempted to clear cache, deactivate and reactivate the plugin, delete the plugin and reinstall it but to no avail. Don’t know what else to try

  • Please try 2.7.2 which was just released.

    2.7.2 doesn’t work either, it throws up more errors: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/2-7-2-errors/

    @swvict that is true for you, but that doesn’t mean it will be for @nivlac. Everyone is using a different set of plugins, themes, custom code, server stacks, etc. These errors are definitely limited to a small set of combinations, so @nivlac should either try the 2.7.2 version or roll back to a previous one.

    updated to 2.7.2…. I am able to see the templates, but still have the following errors….

    We actually deactivated all plugins except Elementor and still receive the errors listed above. Not too sure why this is an ongoing issue.

    Those errors are old errors though. That’s just a log, so they won’t disappear from the log. There are no errors listed there from today. So, you may be okay now.

    Doh….never thought to look at the date stamp on the errors.

    Is there a way to remove those entries from the log or are they there permanently?
