Elementor and Astra

I think the decision whether you go for Elementor or Astra is all based on personal preference as both offer similar features or solutions.

Elementor is the most popular page builder plugin and it is possible to fully design the website and create the pages for the content.

It is also absolutely NOT required to use WordPress though, and many of us completely shy away from any 3rd-party page builder.

What are the advantages of using Astra as a theme if I create the design and content with Elementor anyway?

The way WordPress works, you need a theme… ANY theme will do.

Astra comes with many pre-designed Elementor templates. So that’s a reason to use the two together if you want to use one of these Astra pre-designed templates.

If you’re going to Elementor’s own pre-designed templates or you’re going to design your own Elementor templates from scratch, then it’s better you use Elementor’s own starter theme called Hello Elementor.

For testing I have subscribed an Elementor Pro and an Astra Pro account.

Unfortunately, we can’t comment on these PRO products, because they’re commercial products… and we don’t have access to them. Also, questions about commercial products are not allowed here.
