I am building a woo commerce store using the bocksy theme. Is it possible to use the elementor Header and Footer builder with Woo Commerce? Is it possibleor advised to use Elementor with Woo Commerce?

I am trying to create a call to action nav and header and this is not possible without gutenberg, though maybe with elementor?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

WooCommerce uses your theme’s header and footer. If your theme has widget areas in the header and footer you can add content via widgets. Your theme might also fire certain action hooks from which content can be added.

I don’t know Elementor very well. I’m unsure if it’ll override your theme’s header and footers or not. I do know lots of people use both Elementor and WooCommerce. I don’t know if they use it to modify header and footers though.

I suggest asking in your theme’s and Elementor’s dedicated support forums for further clarification of what’s possible with each.

If all else fails, it’s possible to define custom headers and footers for WC pages through a child theme by naming the related template files header-shop.php and footer-shop.php. Thus just about anything is possible, but it may not be as simple as you would prefer.

Thanks for your reply. I did as you suggested and contacted Elementor-the Elementor header and footer builder and the Elementor website builder IS compatible with Woo Commerce. Just had to double check in case the Woo commerce settings were altered by Elementor:)
