Elementor Code Showing in RSS Feed

    Hi There,

    For the last few weeks. I’ve had an issue with Elementor code showing in my RSS feed as you can see here:

    I’ve tried a number of things to try and fix it. I’ve tried removing all the Elementor elements and creating them from scratch. I’ve tried creating a single element. The problem pops up with the first element added.

    One thing I have been able to learn though is that the issue seems to only exist with the latest episode of the show. Episode 7 had the issue and then it started looking normal as soon as episode 8 came out. Episode 9 came out today and all of a sudden episode 8 looks normal now too.

    I’m not sure if this or elementor or my theme support is the proper place to chase down the issue but I started here because the RSS feed is the only place that I see any sort of issue.

    Hi @footwords,

    Normally, all the non-text elements should be removed from the feed. It looks like something is changing the feed content filters.

    Did you try to temporarily switch to another theme and check if that fixes the issue? Also, you can try disabling your plugins one by one (except Elemenntor and SSP).

    No luck with either of those troubleshooting steps. On another themes, the RSS feed didn’t change. Same with disabling plugins. I went through all of them and wasn’t able to cause the RSS feed to change at all.

    Did you try to make a fresh site on your local machine (or your hosting) and reproduce the issue from scratch? If you’re able to do so and provide step-by-step instructions for reproduction, I’ll try to investigate and fix it in the next plugin versions.

    Here as i am having the same issue… elementor tags are showing up in my rss feeds. Cant seem to get rid of them no matter what i try

    Did it work correctly before? If yes, do you remember when it started showing Elementor tags in the feed? And did you try previous SSP or Elementor versions?

    Just a quick follow up – did the 3.1.1 version fixed this issue?
