Hi, I built a site originally with Elementor and the client wanted to add a huge e-comm platform to it. Something like 30,000 SKU’s.

I went with the Premmerce Pro theme and all it’s pro plugins which is optimized to handle these huge databases of files and I’m rebuilding his site.

I updated the Kirki plugin and there was an error of some sort, I’m sorry, I remember exactly. I reached out to Premmerce developers and they told me to roll my Kirki plugin back to version 3.0.34 which they sent me a google drive link to d/l it.

I’ve reached out to support and ask them when I can update to the new version of Kirki and haven’t heard back yet but I wanted to try here. To be honest, I thought the Kirki framework was one of their own frameworks and not in the repository.

On to Elementor. I’m trying to basically download the Elementor page templates from the first site and import them into the new site and it all goes fairly well except for one thing.

The only conflict that I’m noticing at the moment is the fact that any of the HTML blocks or HTML sections of different widgets doesn’t recognize or apply any of the styling coming directly from the widget. Elementary Sterling functions seem to work in most cases but when it comes to using an HTML text editor in any of the widgets such as the text editor the different styling such as bullet points, bold, italic, too, thing that don’t work.

Is there something someone can do to help out with this?
    It would be Greatly Appreciated.
    Thank you

  • Hello there @wyohost!

Unfortunately the theme you’re using is a premium theme we don’t have access to.
As such we can’t examine its code to see what the developers are doing and how they are using Kirki.
Kirki provides a framework that themes can use to build their themes, but how they use it is out of our control.
As far as I know there have been no bugs reported, so perhaps you could ask the theme developer to submit a ticket with their findings and explain what they’re doing and what happens.
Without additional information about the theme’s code and specific details about what happens I’m afraid there’s not much we can do here…
Rolling back to an earlier version would suggest that the theme developer is aware of an issue, either in kirki or their theme. However such an issue has not been reported to us.
Please contact your theme developer and ask them to create a ticket in our GitHub repository with as many details as possible. If this is indeed a problem with kirki we’ll do our best to resolve it.
