    I am using Ascend 1.3 with the Demo content. I’m trying to edit the Home page with Elementor and get this –

    “Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.”

    I went through the Elementor docs on this issue but its still coming up. I’d like to try the manual fix and add the following but I don’t know where to add it –

    <?php the_content(); ?>

  • Hello,

    Can you please share a link so that I can see this?

    Thanks,

    Sorry but I cannot send a link and it is local with no other sites. Its a fresh WordPress install with nothing but the Theme, demo data and what came with the demo. No custom CSS as yet. I am using the current WordPress version and Safari with no add-ons.

    Try going to Theme Options> Home Layout, and be sure that page content is enabled.

    Does that make a difference?

    That did it! Thank you! I never thought of trying that one… ??

    No problem! I’m glad that worked for you.
