I have added the cookie from Elementor as a functional cookie but some functions are still being blocked when I click “Only Functional”. The functions only works when you have clicked All Cookies.

    Any ideas?

    Hi @colorito,

Which cookies specifically and which functions?

    We will have a look!

When I click “Functional cookies” the dropdown menu isn’t working.
And I have added a WooCommerce cart icon with flyout menu but that doesn’t work either. Not sure if these are cookies but both functions work when I click All cookies.

    Hi @porfavor,

    Thanks for joining!

We block instagram feeds by default, before consent is given. Do you have an unusual or different behavior? If you want, you can share your URL, so we can have a look.

Or through complianz.io/support if you want

I’m not attached to Autoptimize so I removed the plugin and I still have the same issue.
Everything does work when I do this: Complianz > Settings > Disable cookieblocker

Could you try deactivating Autooptimze first, then check your dropdown menu?

pro-tip; you can disable Autoptimize on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL.

if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. there are troubleshooting tips and info on how to exclude in the AO FAQ.

    hope this helps debugging,

    Hi @colorito,

We had a closer look, and this is what’s happening: a Facebook script is blocked before consent, as it should…now when a new script is loaded, it is searching for the variables in the blocked script. Because the new script can’t find the variables it wants to use, it breaks some functionalities in your website.

The pixel is added by Pixel Caffeine we think. Could you try adding the pixel with our script center?

    Great Aert! Thanks!
I disabled the plugin for now because the client can’t send me the Pixel script, but so far everything seems to be working. Thanks for your help!

    Hi @colorito,

Great, let me know if you need help when you’re ready!

I think you should be able to find the script in the Pixel Caffeine plugin. But I can be mistaken.

    Regards Aert
