Elementor editor doesn’t open

    Hello when I click to edit pages with elementor nothing happens but the page title will add text saying Elementor #5174 or other numbers. I’ve tried deactivating several of my plugins and have found that this plugin does work with another site with the same theme.

    Is it possible that there could be conflicts because the site I’m trying Elementor on is a multisite?

    I do not get an error code, the editor just doesn’t open.

  • that could be autoptimize, you can confirm by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the page URL (which temporarily disables autoptimization for that request). if indeed autoptimize you can use the code in the FAQ in the paragraph about page builders to disable autoptimize for logged in users.

    I had a similar problem. After the installation of 0.10.4 the page came up just blank.
    Deactiviated Autoptimize plugin and it worked again.

    Will disable now as adviced in the Autoptimze FAQ, but this should be highlighted more prominently as searching elementor.com didn’t came up with a result quickly.

    I guess the Elementor FAQ could do with a item on JS minification, I’ll mention Elementor explicitely in the pagebuilder paragraph of AO’s FAQ in return ??
