I’m stumped. I’ve used elementor successfully with generate press on another site – same hosting server and general set up, but on this one any attempt to launch the page builder just takes me to a white screen – no wp admin bar, no elementor side bar, just a white screen.

i’ve stripped it back to no other plug ins running aside from the theme plug in for gp pro (you’ll see from below i’ve turned some back on but they are all decent & known names), updated everything, flushed everything, uninstalled and reinstalled elementor itself, just can’t get it to play ball.

the system status report from elementor is below. any help gratefully received.

  • I found the problem, with me the problem was with Kasperski Internet Security
Checked by Web Anti Virus by turning it off.
Then switched on again and with advanced settings added the familiar URL.

All righty!! my time to dive in… The people helped me in a big way and now I will be more than privileged to help someone else out there. I basically had three plugins

The free version of Elementor, Add-ons for Elementor and Sizzify which is also an add-on.

For me, each one of the above is important and have roles to play. To my understanding, the problem was caused initially after Sizzify got updated. I rolled back to the previous version but the problem still persisted.

I tried all of the above solutions, couldn’t make it work though. I deactivated Add-ons one by one. Nothing…
Then I went incognito (guessing it had something to do with caches) and there I started deactivating only Elementor related add-ons. This time after I deactivated Sizzify, everything worked fine, but wait Sizzify still had a large role to play in my website. Well, now all I had to do was to re-install it and the next thing I remember is that I am here making my contribution. ?? Hope You find your solution cause I know it can be frustrating.
P.S: if things worked out remember to keep the Switch Editor Loader Method of Elementor settings enabled…

I am facing white screen issue. this error came after updating elementor. Help me to resolve this issue

all pages are showing white screen.

Same here, caused by Elementor Pro. With it disabled everything works.

I’ve contacted support, will update once they help me find what was causing the error.

Ah it was MailPoet with Elementor Pro.

Once I disabled MailPoet, I was able to to leave Elementor Pro enabled.

    Hey All,

If you tried everything above and still didn’t work.
Then update your PHP version to 7.0 or later via cPanel or WHM Panel

    Cheers,
    John Adam
