    Using Elementor Pro.

I added a built-in header and built-in single post template (7003). For some reason the header does not appear over or above the single post template.

I added conditions for the header for the entire site. The single template condition is for all singular. I also turned off all plugins except for Elementor and Elementor Pro.

I noticed if I set the single post template as draft and load the post I do see the header. Another note, the header and single post are using template “default template” from the WordPress Dashboard.

    Thank you for the help!

    Ah! Figured it out.

Within the single post template click the eye icon next to the “update” button. A menu pops up, click “settings”. There is a “general settings” tab. Click it and under “page layout” select “default”.
