    Hello,

I am trying to create a wordpress site for the first time. With elementor and some plugins.

I set a template with ”shopengine“ plugin for the single-page product page. Everything works fine on the preview of elementor. But when I check what I’ve done in the front end in my browser, the look is different. Mainly that the ”upsells widget” doesnt display the products horizontally. In the preview in elementor, there are 4 columns. In the browser the products are underneath with different image sizes etc.

I checked the HTML Code via my browser, and it looks like the ”li“ elements are differently arranged. One of them is in the div ul element for the grid. The other 3 li elements are outside the div ul.

In the elementor preview everything works fine.

Can you please help me with that topic? I am sitting in front of my desktop for the whole day and my head nearly explodes … and really dont know why the li elements dont get all in the div ul for the grid like in the elementor preview.

    Thanks a lot!
    =) regards dennis

  • HI,

Try to follow this troubleshooting method that I made: (It’s quite general, but maybe it will tell us something.)

Please make sure that all of your Plug-ins and Theme are updated.
Sometimes it isn’t obvious that there is a plugin update available. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Updates and click the Check Again button to be sure.

After you checked that you are really updated to the latest versions, and the issue still occurring:
Please deactivate all your plugins besides Elementor and see if it helps. If it solves the issue reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) and see if it makes any difference.
Please also regenerate the CSS via Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS on your WordPress Dashboard,
then make sure that you clear:
your WordPress cache (your WordPress plugin if you have one), your server cache (if you have one. In this case, you can contact your hosting provider).
Please Delete Elementor, then reinstall it.`

Hello thank you for your answer.

I tried your advises. When I change the theme to the wordpress standard theme, then the design of the ”upsells gallery“ is horizontal and allright.

But when I switch back to my Neve Child theme, then it’s again wrong.

Do you know how can I fix that? I think that the theme overwrite the ”shopengine“ widget.

Thank you for the help! =)

Since the issue is caused when the theme is activated and as we have no control over coding for third-party themes, I highly recommend that you report this issue to the support team for this theme so they may further troubleshoot and provide a solution.

If they need any technical details regarding Elementor, they are free to open an issue on our Github page where our developers will be happy to collaborate directly with them.
